Design scope of a system:
- includes current audits, advices, consultations, consultancy and evaluation at concept stage, design stage and development project’s performance stage in cooperation with the Investor and appointed Subcontractors,
- as needed, individual elements of this scope are ended with notes or reports,
- ATEX’s works end with a study entitled Explosion safety analyses and determination of explosion zones,
- works executed as part of the scope are continuous and are carried out by engineers with long-standing experience in form of audits or telephone/email consultations.
This scope is required by law at system DESIGN stage.
Acceptance scope of a system:
- as far as ATEX’s operations are concerned, the scope ends with the development of a document entitled Protection against Explosion (PAE) for a given system,
- as far as MACHINERY-related operations are concerned, the scope ends with the development of a document entitled Machinery safety risk analysis,
- uparticipation in investment’s final acceptance procedures in respect of compliance with the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and Equipment Directive 2009/104/EC.
This scope is required by law at system USE stage.
Moreover, as part of investor’s supervision in respect of ATEX, our offer includes:
- consultations for and on behalf of the Investor with companies providing explosion protections in respect of their optimum selection,
- evaluation of designs of explosion protection systems supplied by specialised external companies,
- supervision over proper performance of explosion safety systems.
